Publication Highlight: Bayesian estimation of advanced warning time of precipitation emergence

In a recently published Earth’s Future article, Bayesian Estimation of Advanced Warning Time of Precipitation Emergence, authors Dr. Megan Lickley and Dr. Sarah Fletcher develop a new methodology to help decision makers estimate how and when future precipitation regimes may shift due to climate change. They also estimate how far in advance decision makers may be able to receive early warning of these changes. There findings suggest that most regions around the world will have advanced warning, which can help inform timely adaptation decisions.
