PhD Student Clara Medina presents to focus groups of Nuestra Casa

On November 6-7, 2023, Fletcher Lab PhD student Clara Medina gave presentations to English and Spanish focus groups of Nuestra Casa in East Palo Alto. The interactive presentations were held virtually on Zoom and included opportunities for questions and comments from focus group attendees.

Clara’s presentation focused on discussing water science to Casa Nuestra water task force (a set of East Palo Alto community members) to help inform how drinking water water is tested and evaulated for water quality. She also provided some recommendations on at-home water filters.
