PhD candidate Jenny Skerker selected as a 2023 RELP fellow!

Congratulations to Jenny Skerker, PhD candidate in the Fletcher Lab, on her acceptance as a 2023 Rising Environmental Leaders Program (RELP) fellow!  

RELP, a program offered through the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment, provides Stanford graduate students and postdoctoral researchers with opportunities to directly engage with key decision makers including governmental and non-governmental organizations to maximize their research impact and gain hands-on learning experience in national policy development and decision making. The program provides fellows with professional development and networking opportunities outside of academia including career-related workshops, seminars, meetings with cross-sector leaders, and an intensive, weeklong Washington, D.C., Boot Camp. Through this program, fellows gain insight into the realities of policy design and implementation and learn how to better connect their research to policy and communities.
